Meet Dr. Lucas
Dr. Alec Lucas, a Center, TX native, has a lifelong passion for veterinary medicine, shaped by his family's cow/calf operations and love for cowhorses. After earning a B.S. in Animal Science from Texas A&M University, he pursued his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University, graduating in 2023.
Alongside his wife, Sydney, and their two children, Charlie and Truett, Dr. Lucas is dedicated to providing East Texas with convenient, reliable veterinary care. His commitment to the ranching and rural community drives Lucas Veterinary Services, ensuring local producers and pet owners have access to top-tier veterinary expertise.
